BIO:
Coach Hugh grew up in the Bloomington Lacrosse program. As a high school freshman, a friend invited him to try lacrosse. He played for the Bloomington Outlaw combined team from 2010-2013, North's high school team in 2014 (his senior year), and at Lourdes University in college. He played long stick middie (LSM). Michael Jessmer invited Hugh in 2021 to be an assistant coach.
In Summer 2023, he became the fifth head coach for the Bloomington South Boys Lacrosse team. His first season as Head Coach will be Spring 2024.
Three words to describe your coaching philosophy? Dedicated, motivating, patient.
How did you get into lacrosse: Through a school friend.
Best coaching memory: Practices at RCA Park, Bloomington.
Most treasured lacrosse possession: Myself, that's all I have.
Favorite high school subject: English.
